The Palmart Collapsible Bin, an innovative pallet based bin designed by Sharp Concepts and manufactured by ESPlastics was the winner of three Silver awards at the 2006 Plastics
Design Awards.

These were for Blowmolding, Toolmaking and the Primary Industry categories. This bin is manufactured in one of the largest blowmolders in Australasia. The toolmaking and design to achieve this product shape using blowmolding is well deserving of the design awards for the high degree of technical difficulty and the innovative approach to this production method.

ESPlastics and Sharp Concepts also won three bronze awards for Toolmaking and Injection molding, for the B2P testing product range, the Chemical Dispensing unit and the iCR, Intelligent Cup Remover. These three awards were for technically complex groups of products which were designed by Sharp Concepts to meet specific customer needs in a range of industries, utilising a wide variety of engineering polymers and requiring complex toolmaking to enable routine manufacture of complex components and finished assemblies.
